Dental Assistant Needed

Our office is looking for a dental assistant. We need an energetic and people oriented person to perform dental assistant duties in our dental practice in Cortez, CO. The candidate must have strong team skills, pleasant manners with patients and a professional appearance. The ideal candidate will have skills to greet and seat patients, set up treatment rooms, make patients feel comfortable, discuss dental concerns with patients, assist the dentist, present post-operative instructions, chart records, take x-rays, sterilize rooms and instruments, send out and monitor lab cases, flush and disinfect lines and other duties as required.

The position requires computer skills, attention to detail and compassion for patients. Outstanding customer service skills are a priority for our team. Position is approx. 4 days a week Monday through Thursday. The position would begin in as soon as possible. Experience required. Email confidential resume. Position open until filled.
