Dr. Walker achieved Fellowship Status with the ICOI

This past week, dentists from 43 countries attended the ICOI World Congress Implant Dentistry Conference.  The International Congress of Implantology is an association.  The association includes general dentists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, endodontists, orthodontists, laboratory technicians,  auxiliaries, industry representatives, researchers, faculty members, pre and post doctoral graduate dental students as well as the general public.  These professionals are devoted to dental implant education. In total, 91 countries participate with the ICOI.

While he was at the Conference, Dr. Walker was awarded his Fellowship status with the ICOI.  This is his second implant fellowship.  The first one he earned was with the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.  These awards follow years of practice and residencies.  He was required to present cases of his work for approval and attend rigorous education requirements.
